Prediction of Underfilling Defect in Aluminium Profile Extrusion Based on ALE Simulation

چکیده
The paper presents a detailed analysis of metal flow inside the extrusion dies and demonstrates investigation formation underfilling defects. stress state in defect zones has been analyzed by means simulation based on Eulerian approach. Based this, it was found that mean (hydrostatic pressure) is not only parameter to be placed into criterion get reliable results. author proposes new dimensionless adapted for mesh. It results obtained QForm Extrusion FEM software [1] practical experiments different types profiles. This approved, critical values have using number industrial projects from areas application.
